The SibFU’s "Roadmap"is the format for the management of the Russian Academic Excellence Program of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "Siberian Federal University".

The International Advisory Council is a new institution for the University formed for the purpose of supporting significant expansion of its international activities up to, and beyond, 2020.
Its role is to provide the University with high-level guidance on all aspects of increasing of the University’s competitive position in comparison with established international universities.
Target: The Council monitors and reports the University’s progress towards internationalization and provides feedback, advice and recommendations to the Supervisory Board (the ‘Governing Body’) on re-positioning the University’s global reputation and growing its international network over the next six years.

Joel Guiot: Director of Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), at European Centre for Research and Teaching of Geosciences (CEREGE) (France); Director of the interdisciplinary center for environmental studies ECCOREV; Director of the laboratory of Excellence OT-Med on Global Change and natural hazards in Mediterranean.
Jacek Oleksyn: Professor, Director of the Institute of Dendrology, Polish Academy of Sciences (Poland), Research Associate and Graduate Faculty Member of Forestry, the University of Minnesota (USA);
Hans Ågren: Chair Professor in Theoretical Chemistry, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (Sweden)
Gregor Berghorn: Scientific Advisor to the German-Russian Forum (Berlin), founder and head of DAAD office in Russia (1992–98, 2002–04 and 2009–16), initiator the Institute for Comparative Studies in Russian and German Literature and Culture at the RGGU in Moscow, as well as the “German-Russian Institute for Advanced Technologies” (GRIAT) at TU-KAI Kazan in Tatarstan, ex-director of the German House of Research and Innovation (DWIH) (2011–16);
The Coordinating Council carries out the development and coordination of proposals and work plans aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the activities of the SibFU’s Academic Excellence Project.
The Coordination Council includes representatives of the University's structural divisions. The Council is formed of employees of administrative, managerial, educational and scientific structures of the University directly involved in the implementation of the Program.

The Project Office was created by the order of Rector for effective project management within the framework of the Program. The main activity of the Project Office is the organization and support of the activities of the profile departments of the University participating in the implementation of the Program.
